What is CommonWheel?

CommonWheel provides the resources that Ohio Valley residents need to safely get everywhere we need to go.

FOR RIDERS

FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS

The Problem

Hundreds of people in the Ohio Valley don‘t have reliable access to a car.

Not having a car makes it hard to:

  • get to work
  • make appointments
  • care for family
  • participate in community

Solutions we can build together

CommonWheel is a rider-owned cooperative. That means we decide what services we need and how to use the resources we have.

Below are just a few of the ideas that riders have already suggested.

Proud to be car-free

Not having a car can be hard, but there are also good things about it:

No car payments, gas, maintenance, or repairs

Avoid accidents, fines, and tickets

Better for the planet and climate

Reduces traffic and increases parking available for people who do drive

CommonWheel members take pride in making the Ohio Valley better for everyone by driving less.
